Solar parking canopy
Danyang solar parking canopy.
350 solar modules on a steel parking canopy, paired with Solarunis FDE1100 dual-input microinverters.

The installation
Solar generation, integrated into the site.
The Danyang installation combines solar generation with everyday parking infrastructure. A steel canopy supports the photovoltaic modules above the parking area, making the same space useful for both parking and electricity generation.
The equipment used
The array comprises 350 modules rated at 710 W each. Solarunis FDE1100 microinverters are used in a two-module-per-unit configuration, with equipment mounted beneath the canopy modules.
248.5 kWp is calculated as 350 × 710 W. It is the nominal DC capacity of the solar modules, not the array’s AC inverter output or measured energy yield.
